Copperchase are pleased to announce that they have successfully upgraded the remote transmitter link from the MEP TCS990 Voice switch to the new Jotron Transmitters to ED137.
The new, completely digital, ED137 link from the voice switch to the Jotron Transmitters is believed to be one of, if not the first completely ED137 link from switch to transmitters, without the use of gateways, in the UK.
Biggin Hill staff installed and terminated the Fibre optic cross site cable which was then connected to VCCS via Fibre / Ethernet switches to the TCS990 by Copperchase staff. MEP / Copperchase staff jointly commissioned the system with assistance from Biggin Hill.
