Copperchase has purchased the license for the Cellate Fiber Steel Construction System to build 3000 affordable houses in the province of Al Najaf Al Ashraf. The Cellate building method has been in use for over 25 years, and has been used for a wide variety of buildings from simple one story houses to 40 story office blocks. Cellate has built a number of projects using this system ranging from low cost housing to tower blocks.

The Cellate System uses steel fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), creating structures with great strength and durability. The use of FRC removes the requirement for standard steel reinforcing bars to be used which speeds up construction. The panel core provides a thermal barrier that reduces heating or cooling costs depending on the prevailing climate at the construction location

The resultant panel has the following advantages:
- Cost effective
- Fast to assemble
- Excellent strength to weight ratio
- Excellent strength to weight ratio
- High thermal insulation factor
- Cast in finish
