AFTN MESSAGING PRODUCTS

• AFTERM – AFTN Messaging Terminal
  AFTERM is a PC-based AFTN terminal for receiving, transmitting and storing AFTN messages. In line with international requirements, up to 30 days of traffic can be stored, ready for immediate retrieval.
  The terminal is the economic entry point to Copperchase’s range of AFTN message processing systems, and can be easily upgraded to become a Copperchase AFGATE (AFTN Message Distributor).
  An AFTERM variant that supports AFTN and SITA communications on one workstation is also available.

  AFGATE – AFTN Message Distributor/Concentrator
  AFGATE enables airports to collect and distribute AFTN messages to and from a central message switch. Messages can be routed by AFTN message properties. It acts as a collection point for all AFTN messages, thus reducing AFTN connections to a single location, without compromising service. AFGATE is usually used in conjunction with AFTERMs.

  gateway that conforms to the ICAO ATN SARPs for ATSMHS
  applications and, more specifically, to the AFTN/AMHS Gateway specified within these SARPs. Based on the industry standard Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server and X.400 MTA, AMHSGATE paves the way for a seamless transition from today’s ATC Messaging Service of the AFTN to the exciting world of the Air Traffic Services Message Handling Service (AMHS X.400).

FUTURE ATS MESSAGING PRODUCTS

• ATS-CLIENT – ATS Messaging Client for Outlook
  ATS-CLIENT is a message User Agent based on Microsoft
  Outlook. It comprises a suite of software elements that extends Outlook with specific ATS Forms (ICAO Doc 4444) and provides high levels of control and security. Used in conjunction with the AMHSGATE, it can provide AFTN and AMHS X.400 messaging elements of service. It also offers Outlook’s normal Work Flow facilities, as well as Address Book and Directory Services.
  
  
• ATS-MTA – ATS Messaging Transfer Agent
  ATS-MTA is an ICAO SARPs-compliant X.400 Messaging Server on Microsoft Exchange. It extends the capabilities of the Microsoft Exchange Server’s X.400 Connector so that it can function as a true SARPs compliant X.400 MTA – carrying full ATS messaging via ATN Transport Services over X.25 or TCP/IP networks.
