Copperchase
enables you to monitor and control your Airfield Lighting,
Navigation Aids and any other systems from a central control
station terminal located in your Equipment Room. A
visualisation software system that mimics your equipmentfit
enables you to have complete control over all of the ATC
equipment installed at the airfield. The system allows you
to make modifications (e.g. change threshold values) and to
display current data and equipment status in both numerical
and graphical form.
Copperchase’s Integrated Control and Monitoring products
usually provide mimics on touch screens at both the
Controller positions and the ATC Engineering facilities.

ICS 200/60 ATC Simulator |
Copperchase and Troy Systems
present the ICS 200/60 ATC Simulator for the Schmid 200/60
VCCS systems installed at various airports throughout the
world. Screen presentation, alert sounds and headset interface
panels for trainee positions very accurately emulate the real
Schmid components used and the instructor/pseudo-pilot
positions are modified only to the extent necessary to perform
their specialised functions
The ICS 200/60 Simulator consists of a highly distributed
system in which control is shared amongst a number of
computers, each of which supports one operating position.
Physical interfaces to real communications lines (Telephone,
R/T) are replaced with emulations within the position
computers.

- Small Voice Communications System |
Small Voice Communications
System - SVCCS
The Copperchase Small Voice Communications Control System
– SVCCS, a joint development between Copperchase and its
partner Keltel is targeted at the smaller regional airports
market for Voice Communications.
As a cost-effective system solution, the SVCCS provides
complete ATC communications between:
• Console (Operator Positions) to Console
• Console to telephone connections
• Console to radio.
The SVCCS may also be used as a contingency/emergency system
for larger VCCS installations (Emergency Handset Systems – EHS).

The Clearance To Land Indicator (CTLI)
is a fail-safe airport landing clearance tool. It is used for
the safe and expeditious hand-over of aircraft between the Air
Traffic Control Centre and the Airport, or the Approach
(Radar) Controller and the Tower (Visual) Controller.

The AGL Control System provides direct control of all
Aeronautical Ground Lighting circuits in use at an airport. It
also provides timely ‘Back Indication’ of AGL status and
fault conditions to both the Air Traffic Controller and the
engineering staff. The system uses a comprehensive mimic
display of ATC lighting facilities on a touch screen,
providing an ‘at a glance’ pilot’s eye-view of the AGL
system and its current lighting status.

The Alarm and Monitoring system for airfield ground-based ATC
Systems and Navigational Aids offers state-of-the-art
touch-screen and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) packages
that can be configured to the individual needs of the airfield
operation. The system provides multiple display positions. The
Engineering and Maintenance display provides an ‘at a
glance’ view of the monitored equipment, with Equipment
Status, Alarms Overview and Information and Emergency Status.
The Equipment Status is updated automatically from the
instruments on the airfield, whereas the Information and
Emergency Status boxes are updated from a nominated display (e.g.VCR
assistant).
