  • Flight Data Read-out
  • Up to 23 lines of colour-coded flight data

The Departure Slot Monitor application integrates with both AFTERM and AFGATE. The product was specifically created to assist personnel in Flow Management, Air Traffic Control and Airline Operators. It displays incoming CASA (Computer Aided Slot Allocation) generated AFTN messages, relating to tactical Air Traffic Flow Management.

The main display comprises a paged list of up to 23 lines of colour-coded flight data making it easy to read ‘at a glance’. There are additional facilities to inspect individual aircraft, messages relating to that aircraft, and filters on the main display based upon the aircraft’s departure airfield.
Flight data is displayed from the time of receipt until 15 minutes after Calculated Take-off Time (CTOT). Furthermore, the main display is automatically updated with every new incoming message, thus ensuring you have the latest, most accurate, information at your disposal. DSM is available to airports and airline operators with an AFTN facility.

Display Features
The colour of each dataline relates to the purpose of the information displayed, and is determined automatically by the type of CASA message last received for the flight. For example; a new Slot Allocation Message (SAM is usually light grey. Acknowledgement of the SAM causes the flight line colour to change to light blue. Amendment messages e.g. SRM will cause the line to turn yellow, while receipt of an SIP will turn the line magenta. Should an FLS message be received the background colour will become red. This list is not exhaustive.
The message buttons shown on the Flight Data Read-out, open pre-formatted message response form-fills, including addresses. However, each message type is only available to the operator subject to prior receipt of the appropriate CASA message for each flight.

User-friendly
The Man Machine Interface for DSM is driven by user-friendly menu systems based in MS Windows, reassuringly familiar to the majority of users, intuitively simple to learn for those new to computers
