Swaziland MET System

Copperchase has delivered and successfully performed site acceptance testing (SAT) of its Airport Meteorological System (METSYS) and AFTN Communications System (AFGATE) at Sikhuphe International Airport, Swaziland.

The ATC equipment used at the airport was supplied by Thales ATM and in addition to the meteorological equipment includes monopulse secondary radar, instrument landing systems and Communication facilities, radio navigational aids, VHF and UHF radio systems, fibre optic network, etc.

The airport is expected to open towards the end of 2011.
