Newquay Airport

Copperchase Ltd (UK) is pleased to be supplying Selex, the main contractors for Newquay Airport, with an ATC data system comprising METSYS, FDMS, ATIS, ATCIDS and IRVR. The former airport, RAF St Mawgan, is stopping military operations at the end of 2008 and becoming a commercial airport.

The contract will see Copperchase building, supplying, installing and commissioning all the airside MET systems at three MET sites, along with the ATC system in the new control tower. Copperchase, with its expertise in project management and complex software design, has worked closely with Newquay and Selex to define the specific requirements for a customised MET Display and IDS pages.

The contract furthers the business collaboration between Copperchase and Poole-based AGI, who are supplying the IRVR.
