Iraqi Prime Minister Mr Al Maliki visits the Al Ghadeer Village Project
The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr Nouri Al Maliki visited the Copperchase – 4th Dimension Al Ghadeer Village Project on April 9th 2012. Mr Al Maliki’s visit endorses the excellent works carried out by the UK-Iraqi partnership in building Low-Cost Housing as a part of the reconstruction efforts in the country.

The Al Ghadeer Village is joint investment project managed and implemented by Copperchase (UK) and 4th Dimension Contracting Company (Iraq) for and on behalf of the Al Najaf Al Ashraf Investment Commission. The project comprises the construction of 3000 units including a, central mosque, schools, police station, shopping centre and many other service buildings. It includes all the expected and required infrastructure of modern development. The village which is located 80km south of Baghdad, 11km north of the city centre of Al Najaf Al Ashraf and 10km from the Iman Ali (PBUH) holy shrine.
