Copperchase introduces Meteorological System into Exeter International Airport.

In December 2003, Exeter International Airport contracted Copperchase to enhance its existing ATC Flight Data Management System and ATIS to include an airfield Meteorological System with Integral Displays.

The Copperchase Meteorological System (METSYS) comprises a number of MET displays, a data-gathering processor and a suite of sensors which measure, collect and disseminate weather data at an airfield. The MET displays present MET data (wind speed/direction, QFE, pressure etc.) with up-to-date ATC information using web pages (active server pages) on a number of dedicated screens at strategic places within the ATC environment (Tower, Radar and Briefing).
