Copperchase install VCCS at Edinburgh Airport

As the UK representatives of Schmid Telecom, Copperchase has once again been assigned to install the Voice Communications Control System (VCCS).

This system, due to be installed at Edinburgh Airport in July 2005, is a state-of-the-art, freely configurable and fully distributed voice switching system. The system supports all standard functions and communication interfaces for ATC applications.

The 12 Operator Positions that will be installed in Edinburgh’s control tower will provide a Track ID and Visual Data Terminal. These newly developed systems will be supplied to Flight Refuelling for later installation at Petra Airport.
