Copperchase install SWS Ricochet into London Southend Airport

Copperchase and its Norwegian partner company, Software Systems (SWS), have successfully entered the UK ATC Recording and Replay Systems market. In October 2003, Copperchase (the UK representatives for SWS), were awarded a contract to supply the SWS Ricochet Voice Recorder, Logging and Replay System for London Southend Airport.

The SWS Ricochet is a complete logging and replay system for audio (voice), radar, CCTV and almost any digital data source. For ATC applications, Ricochet conforms to standards and recommendations imposed by ICAO (Annex 10, Volume II, Chapter 3.5), and implements many industry standards, including TCP/IP, SNMP, PCI and ODBC.

The Southend Ricochet 16 Channel ATC Data Recorder was installed into the main control tower as a replacement for the RACAL WORDSAFE.
